This week we have two new shared reading books - we have been focusing on comprehension, punctuation and vocabulary. The children have had great fun experimenting with different voices for different characters. We have looked at 'wow words' and created a wall display of these words.
Over the last two weeks we have been completing maths assessments on all the students, these will be completed by tomorrow. - you can see what stage they are at on our maths wall.
We had our first Mandarin lesson today :) this will happen every Thursday.
We got to have a football taster this week :) we had heaps of fun. A newsletter went home about this :)
This week we have set up a whiteboard for students to request help in areas they feel they are struggling with. Other students who are confident in these areas are then running workshops to assist the children :)
We are on assembly tomorrow - sharing a video about our habitat :) feel free to come and watch :)
Remember there is a garage sale this Saturday at school :)
