Wow we have had a busy Friday..lots of learning today :)
We buddy read our readers from the week :)
Today we had the choice of 2 poems... one was about empathy and the other about Autumn.
We discussed what we knew about empathy and learnt about acrostic poems. We then created our own acrostic poems using our names.
We discussed what we knew about Autumn and then looked at the fl- blend. We created charts with words that started with fl.
We then made cards for Brearna to show empathy towards her - unfortunately she has broken her arm :(
The teachers have been working really hard at updating maths assessments for all the students. We finished this testing today :) the children's math stages are displayed on our math wall.
