We have been reading and learning about the beach and how to keep safe... We are making booklets about how to keep safe at the beach... we even made a contents page for our booklets :) 

International Mother Language Day

Today is a special day to talk in our Native language ...

Aurelia taught us to count to 10 in German 

Kayla taught us how to say thank you in Afrikaans

Vicky taught us how to say good bye in Mandarin 

Nashaia taught us how to say hello in French 

Jesse taught us how to say hello from the Cook Islands 

Charlene taught us how to count in Tongan

Monday week 4 term 1

Hi all, 

Just a reminder that Long Bay is this Friday :) 

Sunshine Classics is now up and running, all the children have a username and password glued into their homelink books along with instructions on how to use Sunshine Classics. This is a great idea for homelink :) 

We are learning to be our own teachers and how to help teach others...Today Aurelia ran a workshop, helping to teach others their important words.

Duke comes to school

Duke came to visit us at school today. We learnt about empathy towards animals :) 

He showed us some tricks like how to sit, lie down, roll over and shake hands. Some of us even got to do tricks with him.
